Gutterdog the sexy dark elf sorceress, and gutterdog the shadow warrior along with Kitkat the white lion had some fun joining in with the public quests last night first time we didnt even realise we had until we completed the first stage of the quest line, it is great no running screaming for an "INV" or any of that other rubbish if you are there you are in it, the loot roll system is a nice touch too you get points based on how much you contributed and then it makes a 1-1000 dice roll for each player and adds to their score, to start with if you are in the top 6 you get some loot, if you miss out on loot and do the quests again it kindly gives you a bonus to your next roll.

Also, another thing about public quests is even if you don't get a high roll or a loot bag you will still earn influence points. You get a turquoise bar top right of UI which has 3 little markers along it. When you hit a marker, the marker turns gold and you can get a reward. Get all 3 markers lit and you are eligible for a piece of clothing for the 3rd marker, a weapon for the 2nd and the 1st marker gets you a potion.

So even if you keep missing out on the loot from the quest because you are the littlest in there you will come out with something and very quickly. You probably need to do the Public Quest about 3 to 4 times to get your bar full
